Mannum is a delightful little historic township right on the west bank of the Murray River, South Australia. With the unique outlook of the wetlands, and backing onto the beautiful Murray River, Khartoum road provided a spectacular backdrop for Brittany and Cody to celebrate their wedding with their family and friends. In the morning Brittany completed her preparations at the house on the Khartoum road property. It was a leisurely, relaxed experience, enjoyed with those closest to her.
Brittany descended the back staircase, before she walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her father, towards the beautiful white arbor where Cody stood. I cannot impress how much thought, time and effort had been put into how the ceremony and reception would look. There were cute little signs with directions everywhere, beautifully decorated tables with blankets ‘to have and to hold when the guests got cold’ – but by far the most spectacular were the flowers. Brittany is a florist so she knew what she wanted when it came to her bouquets! They certainly didn’t disappoint and looked amazing in the photo’s. After heading across the river for some photo’s with the bridal party we returned to Khartoum road for some very moving speeches (particularly a speech from Cody’s sister which left hardly a dry eye in the house) and some amazing wood fired pizza’s from the Rolling Pizza Oven. It was truly a magnificent day and we wish Brittany and Cody all the best in their married life!
