Kirra- Lee and Daniel were married on the 31st of August at the gorgeous Ballina Lighthouse NSW on what was one of the most spectacular ‘almost spring’ days. Ballina is an amazing location – a gateway between the lush, rolling hills of the Northern Rivers hinterland and the ocean, with pristine white beaches… a perfect location for a relaxed beach wedding!
Kirra and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at her family home which was just around the corner from the ceremony. The Ballina lighthouse and beach provided an amazing backdrop – but all eyes were on the bride (who entered from behind a set of doors on the arm of her father with a beaming smile) and the groom (who stood nervously waiting for that first look). It was hard for one not to think of the amazing blessings given on such a day… of life, love and happiness!
Angels Beach provided a perfect location for some photos. This was where, almost a year previously, Dan had chosen to propose to Kirra on the headland – albeit with a little resistance from Kirra who didn’t feel like getting out of the car and going for a walk. As it turns out this was one ‘walk’ she definitely didn’t mind taking, even if a little persuasion and convincing was needed from Dan! This made the back drop of Angels beach and the headland the perfect place for some bridal photos before heading to Richmond house for the reception.
A delightfully relaxed meal was rounded out with some sparkling speeches which left many of us with tears of laughter. Based on the stories told life is never going to be boring for this couple – which is just as well because what would life be without a little adventure?! All the best for the future guys!
