What a year 2020 was to plan a wedding! At every twist and turn, with every lockdown and new restriction added my first thought was for my brides and grooms – how were they going to deal with the restrictions and overcome the hurdles they were faced with?

Alyssa and Steven faced every challenge head on and there were definitely moments where we wondered if the date would need to be changed. But finally the 12th of December ticked around and the day dawned with beautiful (albeit quite hot) weather and most importantly with no new covid 19 restrictions in South Australia!

Alyssa and her bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done at the McCracken Country club before heading to the Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving club for a moving ceremony conducted by celebrant Michelle Ware. The ceremony held all the important aspects for Alyssa and Steven – family and friends they love in a gorgeous location surrounded by the ocean. Following the ceremony we traveled down to Knights Beach where we were able to photograph using the most amazing backdrop!

Inside the Chiton Rock Surf Life Saving Club guests mingled among the tables in a casual setting, enjoying a hearty chat and good food, all while celebrating with the happy couple! As the sun went down Alyssa and Steven opened the dance floor with a spectacularly choreographed first dance which included some amazing lifts and dips. It was a truly enjoyable wedding day and we wish you all the best for your life together!
